Team Canada Women Rafting Team, composed of 7 young women from the region of Quebec, has recently classified to represent Canada during the next World Rafting Championships in May 2009 on the Vbras river, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our trip warrants witnesses of our motivation with six Canadian Champions titles and with three participations to world championships. In June 2007’s last edition of the World Rafting Championships, held in South Korea, our team has achieved a second world rank with a first place in Sprint and a second in Downriver.

After this second place in 2007, our goal for 2009 is nothing but the gold medal. We are confident and ready for this challenge considering that our experience, our assiduity in training and the support of our coach (who had oneself won many medals on the international level) made us a winner team.

In the purpose of reaching this target, we are presently looking for financial and material partners. Not only as promoters of rafting but as an active and healthy lifestyle, we are convinced that we can proudly represent your company, Quebec and Canada in front of more than 50 delegations from all over the world.
